So close, but so far

Space is pretty close—only around 100 kilometres or 65 miles. However, it is still out of reach for most of us. The whole oxygen thing is a real deal breaker sometimes. But we can work in space, or at least in the booming space industry. But as of right now, space is not balanced.

It's written in the stars

Women make up only 20-22% of the international space industry workforce, a figure that has remained essentially unchanged for 30 years. Women are more likely to hold administrative roles than technical or leadership positions. Even at NASA, specific roles, including engineering, senior scientific, and executive roles, need to be more represented.
